Authentication in Internet Banking – we are proud to announce the availability
of VoiceOTP - SentryCom novel solution for Authentication in Internet
Banking.
This solution is available in two
versions: one based on increasingly popular Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
telephony, for example Skype, another is based on proprietary Internet
client-server architecture.
VoiceOTP provides three-factor strong authentication utilizing Voice Biometrics. The user provides 4-digit PIN and challenge-response Voice Biometrics. These parameters are to be verified in conjunction with automatic recognition of Skype platform username or PCID. True authentication results in OTP (One-Time-Password) generation to be used for login into the Internet portal.
This is similar to OTP generated by existing hardware-based tokens. But VoiceOTP solution does not require any additional hardware token. Failed authentication attempts may be transferred to helpdesk – thus enhancing customer convenience and satisfaction.
This novel solution can be delivered as
licensed software or as a
service. The user authentication requests can be received toll-free using Skype
infrastructure worldwide.
The mass distribution of this solution is simple and immediate. Being
software-only solution – the cost-effectiveness is obvious. When provided as a
service – the enterprises do not have to install any IVRs or Servers. This is a cost-effective solution
for widespread phishing problem.
