Remote Location-Sensitive Biometric Attendance.

SentryCom announces the release of VoiceLog™ application for remote attendance.

This product is applicable where the person is required to report his/her presence at specific location at specific time using telephone. For example: an employee working out of his home or at remote location. Another example: attendant for the elderly reporting on duty to the central office. From the other side – the product can be used for home incarceration or confinement.

In all cases two questions has to be verified simultaneously:

Is the right person picking up the phone?

Is this phone actually located at the right location?

In order to answer both questions SentryCom has developed a Novel Approach for Biometric Voice Authentication that exploits the synergism between the Voice-Print and Acoustic Channel.

The system performs the match between the person’s Voice-Print and pre-recorded stored Voice-Print to determine if the match is positive .The system is capable to determine whether the Voice-Print is originated from the live person and not from recorded voice. The system is capable to reject human impersonators as well.

If “Follow Me” service is used in order to transfer calls to another telephone – the system will detect this.

If person possesses mobile phone – then Biometric Voice Authentication can be combined with mobile phone location-based services to provide mobile solution as well.

The usage of fixed telephony and mobile solutions can be combined for random checks of person location.

The process is fully automatic and can be used in Call-In and Call-Out modes using commercially available IVR systems.

SentryCom has successfully integrated its products with Avaya IVR using industry-standard VoiceXML interface.
